Haywood Community College’s Natural Resources Division and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission will offer Hunter Safety courses on October 28 through 30 from 6-9:30 p.m. on the HCC campus with location to be determined. Participants must attend three consecutive evenings to receive their certification.
Additional Hunter Safety courses will be offered November 4 through 6.
These courses are offered as a community service and are free of charge. There are no age limits. Pre-registration is required. Anyone interested in taking a hunter safety course must register online in order to attend any session. Course registration may be completed at www.ncwildlife.org.
