Haywood Community College’s Natural Resources Division and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission will offer Hunter Safety courses on September 3 through 5 from 6-9:30 p.m. on the HCC campus with location to be determined. Participants must attend three consecutive evenings to receive their certification.
Additional Hunter Safety courses will be offered October 28 through 30 and November 4 through 6.
These courses are offered as a community service and are free of charge. There are no age limits. Pre-registration is required. Anyone interested in taking a hunter safety course must register online in order to attend any session. Course registration may be completed at www.ncwildlife.org.
